The Beginners Guide to Collagen Powder (& 5 simple, tasty recipes!)


When creating our Personalised Co. collagen, we wanted to make sure it would be easy to incorporate into a routine you’ve already mastered, as new habits are much easier to form when they’re stacked with pre-existing habits. That's why our collagen is powder based, so you can easily add it to a routine you already have, from your morning coffee on-the-go, to your sit down oat masterpiece. We will help you stack good habits, and have the best start to your morning.  

Here are some of our favourite morning upgrade recipe’s both ourselves and our subscribers have been creating this month (yes, really. Collagen cupcakes!).

Our potent sachets are already measured out with the exact amount you need, just add one sachet to one of the recipes below, and let them do the hard work for you.

The Collagen Shake

There's no better way to start the day than with a nutrients packed smoothie.


  • 1 Personalised Co. collagen powder sachet
  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 pear
  • 1 kiwi
  • handful of spinach 
  • 1 cup of oat milk
  • 1 cup of ice 


Blend all together and enjoy. 

The Collagen Coffee

The classic coffee but with a collagen twist. Get ready to feel and look good from the inside, out.


  • 1 Personalised Co. collagen powder sachet
  • 1 coffee pod
  • 2 vanilla drops
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1/2 cup of ice


  • Pop coffee pod in coffee machine and add to cup of choice
  • Pour in your Personalised Co. collagen sachet 
  • Add your vanilla drops
  • Add ice 
  • Optional: Use frother on milk
  • Pour milk into your cup
  • Mix for 30 seconds


The Personalised Porridge 

Porridge, the versatile breakfast of champions. This is one of our senior nutritionists go-to's at the moment.


  • 1 Personalised Co. collagen powder sachet
  • 40g of oats 
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of peanut butter 
  • handful of strawberries & blueberries
  • pinch of dark chocolate nibs
  • pinch of omega seeds & almond chips
  • 1 cup of oat milk

Combine Personalised Co. collagen powder, 40g oats, 180ml oat milk, 1tsp honey & 1tsp cinnamon into a bowl, top with strawberries, blueberries, dark chocolate nibs, omega mix seeds, almond chips & melted peanut butter *chefs kiss*.


  • Combine your Personalised Co. collagen powder, oats, milk, honey and cinnamon in a saucepan
  • Bring saucepan to boil, and simmer for 4-5mins 
  • Place porridge in a bowl, and add berries, nibs, seeds and chips
  • Melt peanut butter in the microwave for 20 seconds, and drizzle over porridge

The Collagen Cuppa

The classic. Cookies optional.


  • 1 Personalised Co. collagen powder sachet 
  • 1 tea bag of choice 
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 tsp of milk 


  • Boil your water
  • Add tea bag of choice
  • Add Personalised Co. collagen powder
  • Add oat milk
  • Stir for 30 seconds

The Collagen Cupcakes 

One of our favourite collagen submissions, certainly a little different! A classic fairy cake mix, with a Personalised Co. collagen twist.



  • 1 Personalised Co. collagen powder sachet 
  • 200g unsalted butter, softened
  • 200g golden caster sugar
  • 3 medium free range eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g self-raising flour
  • 1-2 tbsp milk


  • 160g unsalted butter, softened
  • 300g icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Decorative beans of choice 

 gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C


  • Preheat oven to gas 4, 180 degrees or fan assisted 160 degrees
  • Add Personalised Co. collagen powder sachet, flour, sugar into a bowl and mix
  • Beat eggs 
  • Add eggs, butter, vanilla extract and milk to a bowl
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients 
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes
  • Combine icing ingredients into a bowl and beat with a handheld whisk until pale and fluffy (around 4-5 minutes)
  • Take cakes out, and icing and decorations and enjoy!
