6 Nifty Tricks to Improve Your Skin, Hair and Nails

We are always striving to get our skin, hair and nails looking and feeling strong and healthy, but fear no more. We’re about to share some easy and nifty tricks that you can start doing TODAY to up your beauty game, naturally.

  1. Moisturise right after washing your face.

Yep, it’s a pretty easy trick to implement right? Moisturising our skin is basically trapping our own skin’s moisture in and stopping it from evaporating. So after you’ve bathed, showered or washed your face, make sure you moisturise within 3 minutes to keep your skin hydrated.

  1. Use coconut oil for hair and skin hydration.

Coconut oil can protect the hair against damage by penetrating the hair shaft, as well as being a great natural moisturiser for your face and body.*

  1. Supplements

Taking some daily supplements such as Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin A, and Selenium is an easy and effective addition to your beauty routine and will help support strong nails and vibrant hair and skin. Why not take the quick Personalised Co quiz to find out what supplements will be right for you?

  1. Stay hydrated - for your nails too!

You’ve heard it a million times, but we’re being serious here. If you’re not drinking enough water, your nails can start to become brittle and even start to peel and break. As well as keeping nails strong, drinking enough water will flush out toxins from your body and hydrate your skin so it’s bright and glowy.

  1. One week polish free.

Remember that your nails need to breathe too. If you regularly paint your nails, always make sure you go 1 week polish free after removing your polish with an acetone-free nail polish remover.

  1. Feast on Tomatoes

Tomatoes contain lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that is known to promote skin health - it is even known to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and cultivate a smoother appearance.** Lycopene is also found to help protect your skin from UV damage. Bring on the pasta and pizza!
